The cheap and easy way is grab a 4-8 TB portable drive, make a password protected back up to it once a month or every other month depending on how important the data is, and store it somewhere else secure. This makes sure if you accidentally delete a file you can restore it from a snapshot, and if a hard drive fails, you can rebuild the array without losing data. To not get excessive with it, you can just target a new folder locally.
